Longarm Quilting
Pricing is determined by the size of the quilt and the complexity of the design. Prices start at $0.02 per square inch for basic overall quilting such as large meandering, simple floral designs, loops, stars, and loads of pantographs to choose from. There is a $35 minimum charge. Custom quilting will be estimated by Carol and/or Bill.To estimate the quilting charge, multiply the length in inches by the width in inches, then multiply that amount by the charge for the type of quilting you have selected. We invite you to call for an estimate.
Please follow these guidelines to prepare your quilt for quilting:
- Top: Square up the top. The edges should be straight. Clip threads front and back. Press your top.
- Backing: Square up the edges. Seams should be straight and not offset. Backing should be 4" larger than the top on all sides (add 8" to the width and 8" to the length).
- Batting: The batting you supply should be at least the same size as the backing and of good quality. Please leave batting in its original package. We have several types of batting on hand: poly (low & medium loft), Warm & Natural cotton, Warm & White, Warm & Bright, 80/20 cotton/poly, and wool. Note: All Warm products are American-grown, processed, and manufactured.
Please ship priority with delivery confirmation and signature required. The quilt will be returned to you in the same way. Shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.
